For two weeks I've been wanting to capture a backlit photo of the metro train as it wends past RFK Stadium and plunges into the ground on its path into the city. But as so often happens, I arrived and discovered there was no such photograph there--or at least not one that a photographer of my skill level could find. So I wandered around the desolate parking lot beneath the metro tracks, looking for something, anything--and found not much at all. This is pretty much your basic "art school" shot, but I post it anyway because, well, a man must live with his decisions. I went to a parking lot, and I came back with a shot of a parking lot. So be it.
